About Wellsville Borough

Wellsville Borough was founded in 1737 and incorporated in 1892. The Borough name originated from the founder Abram Wells. The Borough’s geographical area is approximately one square mile, and as of the 2020 census, the current population is 301.The Borough is bordered by Warrington Township. Wellsville Borough provides a community park, street maintenance, trash/recycling and sewer utility services. Fire/Rescue Services are provided by Wellsville Fire Company, Emergency Medical Services are provided by Penn State Health Life Lion. Police Services are provided by The Pennsylvania State Police.
