Trash and Recycling pick-up day is Tuesday.
Pick up only trash in Goods Trash cans, unlimited recycling and one Large Item – per week
Put trash out night before or by 5AM the day of your pick-up. If your collection day falls on a weekday holiday, your collection day moves forward one day. If the holiday falls on a weekend, your collection day will not change.
Goods Disposal Service is contracted through Wellsville Borough to keep cost down. Wellsville Borough invoices Borough Resident quarterly. March, June, September, and December = Trash and Recycling pick up fee is $78.00 quartley for 2025.
Goods Disposal Service observes the following holidays:

Policy for Large Item Pickup
For large items to be acceptable, they must be able to be lifted into a truck by two people. Loose piles are not able to be accepted. Contact Goods Disposal Service to schedule removal of appliances with Freon.

- Carpet (48“ max. length, rolled and tied)
- Furniture
- Mattresses & Box Springs
- Car Tires (TIRES ONLY. Must be removed from rims)
- Scrap Metal (48“ max. length)
Non-Acceptable Items

- Paints, Stain, Chemicals and Liquids
- Batteries
- Automobile Parts
- Household Hazardous Waste
- Tires on Rims
- Commercial and Industrial Waste
- Construction Materials or Debris, including:
- Drywall
- Brick
- Block
- Treated Lumber
- Roofing
- Shingles
- Ceiling Tiles
- Concrete
